Backpacking Hut-to-Hut at Mount Washington, New Hampshire
One of our favorite outdoor destinations is the Presidential Range located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We have been on several hut-to-hut backpacking trips and highly recommend this as a great way to experience the beautiful and rugged scenery during the day and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow back-packers during the evening. The AMC (Appalachian Mountain Club) operates eight high huts along the Appalachian Trail in the White Mountains.
